Like most first-time travelers, at the beginning I packed way too much.
The second time I flew, I was missing basic items and ran out of clothes too soon.
For our honeymoon in Eastern Europe we each flew with a 70-liter backpack, and of course that was neither fun nor necessary.
A lot of water has flowed under the bridge since then, and I’ve improved!
Today when I fly somewhere, I use almost all the gear I bring, my gear is good quality and doesn’t break, and I’m usually not missing anything.
