Recommended Places to Stay in Israel
Where you stay is part of the vacation.
When I take a vacation in Israel, I like to vary the kind of accommodation I choose.
Sometimes I go camping, sometimes I stay in cool hostels, and every now and then I treat myself to a pampering hotel or a cabin.
On this page I’ve gathered the places I’ve stayed in Israel and written about on the blog.
Places to stay in the north:
- Fauzi Azar Inn – a cool place to stay in the heart of the market in Nazareth.
Options for private rooms or dorm beds. - Akko Gate Eco – a one-of-a-kind hostel in Acre.
The hostel has large shared rooms, but each bed is a private pod, so you get more privacy than in a typical hostel.
Places to stay in the center:
- Abraham Hostel Tel Aviv – a cool hostel with an international vibe in central Tel Aviv.
Options for private rooms or dorm beds. - The Carlton Tel Aviv – a pampering 5-star hotel on the beach in Tel Aviv.
for lovers of the good life.
Places to stay in the south:
- Eilat – the MR Soof hotel from the TLV2Go hotel chain.
A pampering, stylish apartment hotel. - Kfar Hanokdim – Kfar Hanokdim, near Arad, was founded about 30 years ago by Yehoram Roded, with the vision of hosting travelers from around the world as they explore the desert. The village started with two Bedouin tents and has grown over the years, adding a range of accommodation options: private tents, cabins and huts.
