Hi, my name is Shir-Yam and I’m the one behind Check In/Out.
Awkward! OK, I’m not great at introducing myself. There are things I’d much rather talk about than me, like travel, or traveling.
Still, let me try again..
My name is Shir-Yam. I’m happily married to Bob, and together we’re raising a (usually) obedient dog named Naska and a mischievous 3-year-old named Peleg, also known as “the tyrant”. I love to travel; some would say I’m addicted. I’ve traveled a lot in Israel since I was young, and in recent years I’ve started traveling the world a lot too. In 2018 I visited more than 11 countries and over 25 cities.
In 2024 we decided to take a radical step toward my dream of traveling nonstop: we left our apartment and sold our stuff. We became homeless travelers roaming the world with a laptop.
Thanks to the site and my other business, a digital agency, I’m able to travel the world and work on the road.
